Social Media and Communications Volunteer
Volunteer Role | Flexible Hours | Remote
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable volunteer to help us spread the word about our work supporting people with sight loss. As a Social Media and Communications Volunteer, you’ll help create and share content that raises awareness of accessibility, promotes our services, and builds our online community.
Main tasks:
Help create and schedule social media posts
Share updates about our events, services, and lived experience stories
Assist with basic design using accessible templates (e.g., Canva)
Support engagement by replying to comments and messages (with guidance)
What we’re looking for:
Interest in accessibility, inclusion, or social justice
Comfortable using social media platforms
Good written communication skills
Reliable and happy to work independently with support when needed
